Demandware will host Demandware Developer Training in 6 major cities in the US and Germany this year. All qualified applicants will get free admission to a 4 day extensive Demandware developer training class plus a complimentary opportunity to take the Demandware certification exam on day 5. For those who pass the exam, you are also invited to attend a networking opportunity in the afternoon of day 5, where you get to meet Demandware customers and partners looking to hire Demandware certified developers.

This event is open to developers and graduating students with programming experience. If you are interested in eCommerce and would like to learn more about developing in Demandware check this out.

Course attendees should have most or all of the following skills in order to fully benefit from participating in the course:

• Java or Javascript programming (at least 1 year)

• Experience using web development technologies such as of HTML, CSS, Flash and Ajax

• Working with XML files (data imports/exports)

• Familiarity with jQuery library and JSON syntax

• Use of Firebug or Web Developer toolkits

• Previous experience with Eclipse IDE preferred

Course attendees are required to bring their own workstation (notebook.)

There will be 4 days of intensive hands-on training delivered by the Demandware Education team, a group of highly experienced Demandware education experts, plus:

• Lunch will be provided

• Access to a development environment during the course

• Complimentary opportunity to take the Demandware Developer’s Certification Exam
